Terms and Conditions

Please read the following information below before booking a commission, by scrolling to the relevant Terms and Conditions of the service you require (whether a pet commission, mini pet portrait or rat portrait). Once a booking has been made it means that you have accepted the 'Terms and Conditions'.

Pet Portrait Commission

Before Olivia starts painting the commission:

  • It is up to the individual to provide photos of the true likeness/colour/expression of the subject in order for optimum results.

Olivia Iskas Art will judge whether or not to accept any                  commission.

  • A deposit of £50 per commission is required before the work commences; which is then deducted from the final amount and invoiced.

  • Olivia Iskas Art can provide a very rough estimate for start/completion date. However, whilst every effort will be made to meet this date there is no guarantee.

During the completion of the commission:

  • Olivia Iskas Art will give you updates on how the painting is progressing.

Once the painting is complete:

  • You will receive photos of the final product and will be required to pay the remainder amount that is due.

  • In the event of dis-satisfaction (which should be considered good reason of complaint, for example, does not resemble the quality of painting displayed on this website) it must be reported within 3 days, for the matter to then be assessed.

  • Items will not be sent out until the agreed balance has been received by Olivia Iskas Art. If paying by cheque, goods will be sent out after funds are cleared at the bank.

Delivery:

  • Olivia Iskas Art will provide postage and tracking details to the Client once the Commission has been posted.

  • If damages have occurred in the post, the Client must notify the Artist within seven (7) days of receiving the Commission, and must provide evidence of said damages. If the Commission has been damaged but the Client wants to retain ownership, the Artist will refund 50% of the full amount back to the Client or as negotiated. If the Commission is stolen, lost, or perished during transit, the Artist will refund 50% of the full amount back to the Client or as negotiated. Any damages or misplacement caused at the fault of the Client or during the Client's possession will not be refunded.

Cancellation:

  • If the customer wishes to cancel the contract to commission an artwork, then notice must be given in writing.

  • Any deposit that has already been paid is non refundable.

  • For orders where the balance has been paid in advance. Depending on how much work been undertaken, it will be up to Olivia Iskas Art to decide whether any refund is to be paid to the customer.
